That soul-deep love transfigures us. I’d say it’s indescribable myself, but you just did it. This Yiayia salutes you.

Except for the teenage years, indeed. 😃

What a great story!

Thank you-you can't help but forgive them for being teenagers as long as you can still remember how you were when you were one haha

"as long as there are children in the world, there will always be hope" - Beautiful to read this David. Couldn't agree more. My greatest blessing so far is to be a Nana ❤️

Thank you David. I had so much fun with my three grandchildren when they were young. I often think they got a better version of me then their mothers did as I was much more focused on them than the other things around me. Now they are all wonderful young adults in their twenties. I’m so proud of each of them. The years go by so fast. I am so grateful.

So well said and so very true. So many grandparents live far away from their grandkids now that those of us who see them regularly are the luckiest "old people" alive. And every grandchild they have when they grow old will be the luckiest kids alive.

Thank you for a lovely story about the love between a child and a grandparent. I am blessed with four, whom I love dearly. Yes, children bring us hope and happiness in a world where we wonder how it got so out of hand.

Thank you Ruth, and yes-blessed is exactly the right word here
