Like hell you don't have a story to tell! You are the rock and substack is this craggly ole tree embracing you. It's not going to let you go until you write it!

To survive, thrive, pass along some truths and some secrets that will give them more than just a chance to continue forward - more importantly, want to.

I’d love to sit nearby and listen to your stories.

Looking forward to your memoir! Also, how great is it (pretty great) that I woke up today and saw not one but TWO photos of large trees muscling out rocks? https://substack.com/@tomcox/note/c-52678957?utm_source=notes-share-action&r=985jq

For once I'd have to disagree with you....there is little a book called the "Fly Trap" about a dude who collects flies on Malta and it was super-interesting.

When most people say something nice on any social media or try to say something deep to get clicks my natural reactions is psssh whatever, but I get the feeling that you mean what you say. You may not think your life warrants an autobiography but just hearing you explain your reflections in your tone of voice could easily be inspiring and comforting to readers.

By the way I didn't mean this as a hoorah everyone let's go write books, just the way I see it.

I was gonna say somethin quick, but with the clock ticking, I'll have to wait awhile and sort it all out. Not if this would be better at the end of the book, not the opening?

Another dandy post. Memoir is my favorite genre. Especially interesting and helpful ones. I think you’re fine David and a much better person than I’ll ever be.
